k11-Set Load Sharing System
One of the largest shirt manufacturers in the Guangdong Province of China is situated in Dongguan. The factory enjoys high volume worldwide sales.
The factory already had an existing PCC paralleling system in operation, providing prime power, but this needed updating due to problems on automatic load demand. DSEs distributor, CECL won the contract after close liaison with the panel builder, to replace the 11-set system with DSE 5510 controllers.
Engine specs were 4 x Cummins KTA19 (400Kw), 1 x Cummins KTA38 (800Kw) & 6 x Cummins KTA50 (1120Kw).
The upgraded system was required to provide emergency power as a back up to a newly installed mains supply, but would also be required to run during scheduled black outs for one to two days per week.
Now complete, the system is up and running successfully with CECL providing on-site technical help for a period of 30 days after commissioning.
