DSE Acquired by Generac Holdings Inc.
It gives us great pleasure to announce DSE has been acquired by Generac Holdings Inc.
Generac are an investor in energy technology solutions and other power related products, with a focus on distributed energy sources and micro-grid technology.
DSE will remain a totally independent business under the new ownership, whilst utilising Generac’s financial strength to continue to deliver industry-leading products and further enhance global customer support.
This last year has been extremely challenging due to the impact of COVID-19 and subsequent interruption of global supply chains. Throughout the pandemic DSE has remained fully operational and consistently dispatched products to standard lead times. This performance has resulted in further growth for the business.
As global markets and demands evolve, it is extremely important that businesses remain flexible and recognise when change is required. To remain a leader in any industry, particularly with the current adoption of new technologies in distributed energy resources and micro-grids, DSE recognised it was time for a new investment partner. It was important that this partner could support DSE in delivering its loyal customers market leading technologies for many years to come.
