DSE Managing Director meets UK Prime Minister
Mr Ed Sheader, DSE's Managing Director attended a reception on the 6th July 2011 hosted by the UK Prime Minister (David Cameron). The reception was held to recognise the outstanding achievement of the UKs most successful entrepreneurs and fastest growing businesses.
The event gave the UK's most successful business owners the opportunity to discuss with Mr Cameron ideas and requirements for cultivating an environment in which other UK businesses could thrive.
Mr Ed Sheader commented “It was a great honour to be invited to meet David Cameron and get the opportunity to talk about DSE with him. He openly recognised the valuable role that entrepreneurs and the private business sector has to play within the UK economy.
He was keen to know how we had successfully managed to expand our share of the global market from our North Yorkshire manufacturing facility at a time when many other manufacturers were moving to cheaper, lower quality production locations outside the UK. It was a pleasure discussing with him how we have managed to maintain our position as market leaders and continue to grow".
